I have served families with: -children of all ages (infant to teen) -multiple children -children with disabilities -emerging bilingual children (español and ASL) -Montessori students -gifted children -children with ADHD, autism, depression, and anxiety Teaching experience: -secondary mathematics educator -secondary intro computer science educator -secondary social emotional learning facilitator -private tutor for elementary through high school aged students -lead teacher for the "walkers" group at local preschool -preschool aftercare teacher for all age groups There are teachable moments around us all the time. I lean into those moments of learning with the children I care for. Playing outside can turn into a math game, a science experiment, a theatrical game fueled by imagination, and even a story we write on the spot! I am NOT a nanny that relies on screen time.
