About Emma

I'd describe myself as creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic! I like working with kids because I find it very fulfilling to have the opportunity to be a safe space and potential role model in a child's life. I am also a very creative person and love to find ways to use that! This also plays into why I want to be a teacher. I am a current college student working toward getting my teaching license at the Early Childhood and Elementary level. I have professional experience working in a daycare center (with ages 1-4 years) and writing and implementing lesson plans with older elementary students at my local school placement. I will continue to have field placement experience in classrooms until I graduate and get my degree.
