About Emma

My name is Emma and I have 14 plus years of experience caring for children in daycare teacher and nanny roles. As a nanny I have experience working with families who have up to 3 children, two families through a nanny share, and families with twins. I have a BA in Social Work with a Psychology minor as well an EEC teacher certification for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Some of my responsibilities in previous positions have included transportation, meal preparation, running errands, children's laundry, packing for trips, and general tidying/light housekeeping on top of all childcare aspects. I'd describe my personality as patient, present, and connected. I like working with kids because it's a great opportunity to foster confidence, autonomy, and overall wellbeing to the next generation. I enjoy nannying because I love building a strong connection with the children in my care in order to be someone they can look to and come to with all their questions and feelings.
