Hello! I have grown up with special needs children and adults my whole life. I nannied my neighbor who had Trisomy 13 for awhile and absolutely loved it. I also have been nannying a camper from my other job who has Down syndrome. Along with nannying I work at Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC. Munroe is a recreational camp for those with with disabilities. I have nannied numerous neighbors, my cousins, and other children too. I also used to volunteer a lot at Via Christi which is a assisted living and dementia facility. There I became good friends with multiple residents.
