I have been a certified nursing assistant for almost six years. During the six years of being a CNA, I was able to experience working with clients with broad ranges of age and health. At the nursing home, we assisted residents with feeding bathing, ambulating, vitals, and the one I love best interacting with activities! I recently just graduated in May of this year with my bachelors degree in Biology. I am now in a accelerated program going for nurse practitioner. During my undergraduate years I was able to work with a company that assisted those with mental disorders and these were the same duties as it was at a nursing home, I will say that it was challenging dealing with many people that are in a different place in life, however it has helped me even more with having patience. I have also, worked with kids and it was a great great experience!
