My Name is Emma. I started babysitting when I was 12 and have been caring for kids in some way ever since. I studied education at Luther college for 2 years, helped out in a Montessori classroom for a year, and nannied for my nephew for a year and half. I love providing children with adventure and opportunities to learn, but also know the great value of giving kids the space to simply play. I'm kind, patient and respectful and always do my best to listen to the kids I'm caring for. Though I love taking kids on adventures, I always try to plan the day's itinerary based on their needs. Emma has been a wonderful addition to our family! She regularly picks up our 3 year old and 6 year old from their schools and brings them to our house for an afternoon of indoor & outdoor playtime. She makes sure to pick activities that match our kids' energy and interests - and our kids love getting to spend time with her. Emma is also a great communicator to us parents about how their day went and any issues or concerns. I highly recommend Emma to any family!
