About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma! I moved back to Maui a few years ago after spending time with family in Washington. I spent my time there working as a teacher in a pre-k classroom at a non-profit early learning center, as well as working as a nanny for multiple years. While working in the center I completed a 30 hour child care basics training (STARS), became CPR certified, and I attended many creative curriculum and classroom environment based trainings. I am currently enrolled in an online CDA course, and I've accrued over 30 hours PATCH online trainings this year, as well as renewing my infant CPR/first aid training. I believe that learning and growing should be led by children/their interests, but I especially enjoy planning nature based art activities for keiki! I live in Haiku and I work part time as a preschool teacher at Aloha Kai Academy- so Saturday-Tuesdays I have open availability and Wednesday-Friday I am available after 4.
