I have been in agricultural and STEAM based education for the last seven years or so. I was the garden teacher for an elementary school here on island for 2 years, before moving to my current job, where I work for a sustainability centric organization, based out of University of Hawaii Maui College, doing educational and community outreach. I am originally from Rhode Island and have lived here on Maui for the last several years. I am also currently back in school pursuing a degree in sustainability. I have childcare experience ranging from 3 months to middle schoolers, as well as experience working with and caretaking for students and children with special needs.
