About Emma

Hi, I am Emma. I'm a trained and certified teacher, having graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan. I changed career paths and began attending births and supporting families postpartum as a doula. I have supported nearly one hundred families in this capacity since 2019. I have also taught private music lessons, mainly piano, to children and adults since 2016. I'm happy to offer music education as part of my services. I am currently a graduate student pursuing a degree in Nurse-Midwifery. Given my background in both nursing and education, I have the skills to care for children from infancy through adolescence, and attend to social, academic, emotional, and any health needs. I have taught kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 9th grade Algebra and am happy to tutor children. I look forward to working with you!
