About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a new mom to my sweet 4-month-old & someone who's always had a heart for helping kids learn & grow. I was the little girl who spent hours playing school in my room! I started as an Intervention Tutor, working with K-5 students to build their reading skills. For the past 3 years, I worked as an Intervention Specialist with 2nd/3rd grade, focusing on reading while also providing math support. I have experience working one-on-one & in small groups. I truly believe every child learns differently. Therefore, my goal is to create a positive & encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable & supported. I love making learning enjoyable & celebrating every step of their progress! My license is in Early Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist PreK-3, have my K-12 Reading Endorsement, & trained in LETRS & the Wilson Reading System. As a mom, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your child. I'd love to support your child's individual needs!
