About Jourden

Hi! I'm a certified General Education and Special Education teacher with experience supporting elementary students of all learning styles and abilities. I specialize in creating engaging, individualized lessons that build confidence in reading, math, and executive functioning skills. My goal is to help students grow academically while making learning a positive and encouraging experience. I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential! I'd describe my personality as patient, encouraging, and creative. I have been providing individualized academic support since beginning my teaching career. As a certified General Education and Special Education teacher, much of my role involves one-on-one and small-group instruction tailored to each student's unique learning needs. I enjoy building strong relationships with students, helping them gain confidence, and celebrating their growth every step of the way!
