About Emily

Hi there! I'm 28 years old and have been working with kids for most of my life. I started in my church nursery at age 15 in my small hometown in Indiana, and I knew right away that childcare was what I wanted to do forever. I didn't get the chance to attend college and I moved to the big city at a young age so I jumped into the corporate world to support myself full-time. I remained the go-to babysitter for friends and family. I've always been the "baby whisperer" of the group! My dream has always been to run an in-home daycare, and I'm finally at a place in my life where I can step away from the corporate world and pursue that passion full-time. I'm a kid at heart most of the time, which I think is why I connect with children so naturally. I love helping them grow and learn, just as they help the world grow and learn in return.
