We had a very nice conversation where Emily sounded very enthusiastic. I took the time to call a reference and that was very positive. But then when it came time I had to text twice to find out that her "schedule had changed" suddenly. It helps when there is a change to let people know immediately so they can look for other help. If you can't follow through then at least make a sincere explanation. We are all looking for reliability above pretty much anything else.
