About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I have 12 years of experience as a babysitter, nanny, coach, and classroom teacher. I worked as a nanny throughout high school and college. I graduated high school with my associate's degree and went on to earn my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During college I worked at an outdoor elementary discovery school. After graduating, I worked in classrooms ranging from pre-school through 5th grade. After that I taught 3rd grade for three years. Throughout my years of working with children, parents have described me as patient, calm, reliable, organized, and trustworthy. I truly love children and have a passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. I also have a 14-month-old son, whom I would be bringing with me. I understand that choosing someone to care for your child is a huge decision. My goal is to be someone you feel completely comfortable leaving your child with.
