About Emily

My four years of childcare experience have solidified my commitment to fostering a safe, fun, and enriching environment where children feel heard and valued. I have some college experience and have completed Early Child Development Coursework, along with First Aid Training and CPR Training for infants, children, and adults. I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I adapt to each family's needs, including following your lead on household rules and preferred communication methods, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text. I enjoy engaging children with a wide range of games and activities. I'm also comfortable with cooking, housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision, with experience as a lifeguard. I can adapt to a flexible play environment with children who have Down syndrome and behavioral struggles, often with neurotypical siblings in the same household. In addition, I have experience with tutoring, with young children and adolescents.
