About Emily

I have eight years of tutoring experience, three years of teaching experience, and hold a graduate degree in Creative Writing. I have both taught and tutored English (writing and reading), Creative Writing, Study Skills, Time Management, and more. I believe every student learns differently, so I prioritize meeting them exactly where they are to nurture their unique potential. I try to foster engagement through critical thinking and celebrate every small success to build their confidence. Open communication with both students and parents is essential to our collaborative progress. Whether we meet at home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to helping students master new skills and experience that rewarding "aha!" moment.
