About Emily

Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors has been my life's work for the past 15 years. My approach to care is rooted in patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those I support. I have a background in music therapy and an occupational therapy with an abundance of experience with adults at all stages of their lives. I maintain current CPR training and First Aid certifications. Whether I am assisting with mobility, managing medications, or providing memory care through sensory engagement, I prioritize respecting each individual's autonomy. I am highly skilled at de-escalating stressful situations and adapting to changing daily routines. I maintain open communication with families through their preferred methods. I am also very comfortable working in homes with pets, providing house cleaning, and meal preparation.
