About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, I'm 23, and I'm a lead GSRP preschool teacher in Ann Arbor with over 7 years of experience working with children. I have an associate degree in early childhood education and am working toward my bachelor's in elementary education, graduating in 2026. I've worked with ages 2-12 in classrooms, after-school programs, and babysitting my nieces and nephews. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and trained in allergic reactions, bloodborne pathogens, and disability awareness. I love helping with routines, chores, and homework/tutoring. I'm passionate about learning languages and cultures-I'm currently taking Brazilian Portuguese classes and spend much of my time immersed in the language. I'm reliable, caring, and committed to creating a positive and safe space for every child I work with.
