About Abigail

I've had the joy of working with children for over 10+ years, in school and professionally. I graduated with Highest Honors from Michigan State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor's in Education (Elementary Y5-6th, Language Arts) and plan to pursue a Master's in education. I'm also a mom to a wonderful autistic 7-year-old boy who inspires me every day to make the world a more loving, tolerant, and accessible place. My passions include raising and educating children, exploring nature, gardening, running, reading, learning, and being a wife! My caregiving style is teaching healthy boundaries through love, respect, and peaceful, inclusive communication. As a nanny, I love keeping kids engaged in fun, screen-free activities like reading, crafting, board games, and outdoor adventures. As a parent to a high-energy only child, I'm great at connecting with kids on their level and am always ready for some fun! I'm also excited to offer tutoring in all subjects up to 5th grade :)
