About Emily

Hello! I'm a childcare provider with certificates in preschool and school-age child development with years of experience in babysitting plus a year of professional childcare experience at an independent school. While my educational background is in the humanities (I have a Master's degree in History!) I have always enjoyed working with children and have babysat on and off since I was in high school. For past families and in my current job, I prioritize outdoor time, open ended play, reading, cooking, and crafting. I have worked with children as young as 6 with crochet, knitting, sewing, and tatting lace and would be happy to share these skills with any interested children I work with. In addition, I love to help out with- and encourage children to participate in- daily household chores like laundry, dishes, and light cleaning. Comfortable with cats, no dogs.
