About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, and I have over 8 years of experience working with children, including 3+ years professionally supporting children with autism and other developmental needs. I'm currently earning my master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and working toward becoming a BCBA. My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and individualized to each child. I love finding creative ways to make learning engaging and breaking difficult skills into smaller, manageable steps. My background in behavior analysis has given me extensive experience with teaching new skills, building confidence, maintaining motivation, and adapting instruction based on how each child learns best. I'm especially comfortable working with elementary-aged children, neurodivergent learners, and children who may need a little extra patience or individualized support. My goal is to create a positive environment where kids feel successful, capable, and excited to learn!
