About Emily

I'd describe my personality as reliable, patient, and caring! I like working with kids because every day is a new adventure. I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and express themselves while making them feel safe, heard, and cared for. I'm looking for a job where I can build a strong, trusting relationship with a family and provide consistent, high-quality care. I started working with kids during high school as a summer camp counselor. In college, I continued working with kids in the local nursery school. I work with kids now through my graduate program in clinical psychology specializing in child development and working clinically with children. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, explore, cook, and spend time with my family's dog! One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of the children I work with and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. My skills include safety-awareness, engagement, and communication.
