Hello! I'm Emily! I'm 27 and currently live in Byron Center with my husband and 2 cats. I'm originally from Illinois. I came to Michigan on a track scholarship and met my husband while at Davenport University. I've been babysitting since high school and realized I wanted this to be my full time job around 5 years ago. I'm currently working full time for a family with 2 kids. I started in 2019 right after their first was born so this is my fourth year with them! My nanny mom is starting to transition into being a SAHM in the next few months! I'm with them 45 hours per week and handle meals, school drop off/ pick up, activities, and cleaning. My skills include being knowledgeable about a gentle parent approach, staying calm in overstimulating situations, and always wanting to learn more about child development.

Hire Emily immediately! She worked with my family from 2019 to 2023 and truly became a treasured friend and part of our family. She is patient, fun, energetic, loving, flexible, trustworthy, and EXTREMELY reliable. My kids absolutely adore her. She takes an interest in child development and staying up-to-date on the latest recommendations for learning, discipline, etc. I learned so much from Emily and am so grateful for her.
