About Emily

Creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children is my passion. My three years of babysitting experience have solidified my desire to positively impact young lives and support families. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I prioritize open communication with parents, adapting to your preferred method for regular updates. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I have previously volunteered at a preschool for two years and volunteered at the Boys and Girls club for a year. I am bilingual (Spanish) and my Early Child Development coursework has further enhanced my skills. Lastly, I am happy to help with light housekeeping (e. g. loading washer and/dryer, loading the dishwasher, vacuuming, and picking up after the kids). I bring a "calm yet playful" energy to my work, ensuring kids feel supported while having plenty of fun.
