About Emily

Over the past seven years, I've developed deep, hands-on experience working with kids in a variety of settings-from trusted babysitting roles to working as a counselor for children with mental health challenges. These roles sparked my passion for childcare and led me to pursue it through obtaining my BS in psychology. I'm calm, patient, and friendly, with a grounded presence that helps children feel safe, seen, and supported. Communication with parents is important to me - I will provide updates with you throughout the day if that is what you prefer. I enjoy being active and creative with kids, whether we're outside playing spots or cooking together. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and swimming supervision. Most recently, I worked as a recruiter specializing in pediatric therapists before being laid off. That experience deepened my appreciation of supportive care during early childhood-and now I'm excited to return to a more direct caregiving role.
