Hello! My name is Emily and I am a new graduate occupational therapist looking for part-time, temporary work while I study for my boards exam. I have 5 years experience working in the Recreational Department of both a nursing home and an assisted living facility. I have worked as a Physical Therapy Aide in an outpatient clinic for 2 years. My goal is to provide meaningful, compassionate care to older adults and individuals with disabilities to support continued independence, well-being, and functioning, and to build a valued connection with the individuals and families I care for. I possess the following certifications: CPR/AED Dementia Care Basics Mental Health First Aid In my free time, I love to do anything outdoors, including biking, hiking, and kayaking.
