About Emily

Hi everyone! My name is Emily, I'm currently a junior at the University of Maryland in college park. I just finished my internship so I'm looking to babysit consistently, but I'm also open to one time gigs! I've been babysitting since I was 13 years old and can provide you with past contacts to reach out to if you would like! I also enjoy working with children with special needs as both of my brothers are blind. Growing up in my household has provided me with a unique skill set when it comes to providing accessibility and accommodations to those with disabilities. I'm also a huge dog lover and have been raising guide dogs for the last 4 years, so if you have any dog needs whatsoever don't hesitate to reach out! :) I'd describe my personality as friendly, responsible, and empathetic. My skills include interactive play/learning time, abiding by a schedule if provided, and an approachable and warm extension to the family.
