Hello! With a law degree and years of experience, I build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my methods based on a kid's needs and help break down solutions into manageable steps. I connect challenging topics to the real-world because it leads to those moments that make the lesson click. I am here to foster confidence and a love for learning. I am CPR certified, a swim instructor, and I love field trips! Seeing kids develop real confidence is the most rewarding aspect of childcare. I am a mother of two, an autistic 15-year-old, and a 12-year-old who fought and won a three and a half year battle with cancer as a toddler. These were not easy times, but they taught me to be keenly aware of the unspoken needs of a kid. Kids have bad days too, usually because the world doesn't appreciate the value of neurodivergent brains. Confident neurodivergent kids are treasures because they really can see possibilities that would never occur to neurotypicals.
