About Emily

Hi I'm Finn (my legal name is Emily listed here, but I go by Finn!) I have 10+ years of child care experience ranging from working as a full time nanny, a field instructor at an outdoor school, to working as a para educator in an extensive special needs classroom. Im currently First Aid, CPR, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) trained. I love going on walks, working on art projects, and spending active and present time with the kids I care for. I'm happy to help with home care, caring for pets, laundry, cooking etc. I'm also open to offering piano lessons and math tutoring. I'm curious about each child's individual needs, and how I can be most helpful. One thing to note is that I don't own a car, although I have a CA driver's license and am insured as a non owner. I'm currently an art student at Laney College and working part time for their art department as a studio and gallery assistant. I'm open to all budgets if it's a good fit
