About Emily

I just opened a registered family licensed in home daycare in the Tigard area! I have affordable rates and over 10 years of experience working in child care. I have several years of experience nannying, as well as working at preschools and daycares being the lead teacher. I am a Momma as well to a sweet 15-month-old. I have 4 positions open now for 2-5-year-olds as well as 1 position for a 1-2-year-old. The max amount of kids I will have is 6. I want to be able to give each child equal care while allowing them to still get the benefits of socialization and a loving care giver. I have my Associate Degree of General Studies with a major in Early Childhood Education. I am also CPR and first aid certified and enrolled in the Oregon Central Background Registry. I also have several trainings in regards to childcare. I believe in the Montessori approach and promise to love your little as if they are my own. I look forward to chatting!

We have had the pleasure of knowing Emy for 4+ years. First through daycare and then as our nanny for the past two years. Emy is a rock star. Through that super turbulent time Emy bought stability, love, comfort and peace to our home. Our boys thrived. Emy managed online learning for our eldest, kept our youngest entertained learning his numbers, colors and letters. Prepped their meals, assisted with potty training and soccer skills! Emy is always reliable, respectful, dependable, full of energy, generous spirit and a wonderful person to be around, bringing a sense of peace to our home. We recently made the tough decision to put our youngest in preschool to begin his socialization post Covid. We would love to have Emy watching our boys forever, and while we always knew this day would come, we are very sad. Emy will forever be a part of our family.
