About Emily

I've had the opportunity to work with many different types of care, and caring for others is something I truly enjoy. For the last few years, I've worked as a caregiver for seniors with memory loss. Before that, I worked as a nanny and in nanny shares, caring for children from 3 months to 12 years old. I'm passionate about helping children grow into confident, independent, and happy little people. I believe learning happens naturally throughout the day through play, conversations, routines, and everyday moments. I love imaginative and Montessori-inspired play and making childhood fun while providing safe, consistent boundaries. I also have experience with children with ADHD, autism, Tourette's, and reactive attachment disorder. I believe every child is different and deserves to feel safe, understood, and supported. I believe that every situation can be made better through positive attitude and communication.
