About Emily

Early childhood is a time of crucial development. It is also marked by days brimming with joy, laughter, and learning. Children and parents deserve access to consistent, quality childcare to support their families. For the past two years, I've had the privilege of working with a private family assisting in the care of their two young children. My background includes a bachelor's degree in English education and a teaching certification. Throughout college, I spent summers and breaks working at a group family daycare, for which I received certifications in CPR and first aid. In my role there, I often acted as the sole provider for up to six children, building my confidence tending to multiple children. I'm comfortable driving and supervising children in water. I'm happy to assist in household duties including food preparation and housekeeping.
