About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant (Level III) with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work in elementary special education, supporting students with autism, communication challenges, behavioral needs, and complex medical needs. I am also a mother to a4-year-old son and am pursuing a degree in Social Work. Families describe me as warm, dependable, energetic, and patient. I love helping children learn through play, creativity, music, outdoor activities, and everyday experiences. I have experience with childcare, respite care, tutoring, and supporting children with special needs. As an animal lover and cat owner, I am comfortable around pets. I am passionate about helping children feel safe, supported, and successful, and I look forward to connecting with your family!
