Learning should be an exciting journey! I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where elementary students thrive in Math, English, and Test Preparation. I am getting my bachelors in elementary and special education and have a year of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I vary my teaching strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Open communication allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. I celebrate small successes and relate subjects to topics that interest each child, keeping the learning environment fun. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and helping them gain confidence is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR trained and certified in First Aid.
