About Delaney

Learning alongside students is my passion. With three years of experience, I hold a college degree and strive to create engaging and supportive learning environments. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching by listening and observing how students interact with new material, varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to real-world examples, breaking down complex problems, and encouraging curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, setting clear expectations, and building trust. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am fluent in English and Spanish, have a car, and am comfortable with pets.
