About Emily

If any families are looking to incorporate water safety/swim lessons, piano lessons, or tutoring into their child's lives, I have extensive personal and teaching experience in all the aforementioned. I have been teaching swimming for five years and can work with children from six months and above. I am able to teach water safety, all four swim strokes, or even create a training plan for swim team or higher level preparation. I played piano for 13 years and can start with complete beginners or coach children through more advanced pieces. I also have extensive music theory experience having completed all 10 levels of Certificate of Merit. I have experience with standardized tests such as the SAT, and am extremely comfortable with middle school and high school academic material. As a neuroscience major and mathematical sciences minor, I have also taken classes at a college level so can even incorporate some more advanced material for especially motivated students.
