About Elizabeth

Piano teacher offering lessons to beginner and intermediate students of all ages. Since moving to New York two years ago, I have been teaching at a music school in Brooklyn and also completing a Master's of Music Therapy degree at New York University. I graduated from Boston College with a BA in Music in 2015, and have held a private teaching studio for three years. My priority is to cultivate my students' love of music and encourage exploration of all that music has to offer. Music education has countless effects that are not immediately apparent - such as supplementing reading and math skills, encouraging innovative and creative thinking, and introducing discipline. I believe that learning about music results in more than simply acquiring a skill, and that every child, or adult, can benefit from music education.
