Hello! My name is Emily, and I'm currently in Dallas, Texas, completing my child life clinical internship at Children's Health. I'm pursuing this internship as part of my University of Iowa Health and Human Physiology Sub-Track Child Life program, with the goal of becoming a Child Life Specialist. I graduated with my bachelors in May 2023 with my degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a Certificate in Disability Studies. I then became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). I am hoping to be able to do child care on the weekends or evenings! I have nannied for 9 years for kids of all ages (infants-12 years) and have experience working with children with disabilities! I have worked as a Child Life Student Assistant in a children's hospital so I am comfortable working with children with medical needs as well! I am BLS/CPR trained and have my own transportation!
