I'm a seasoned educator with over seven years of teaching experience in public school education and extensive tutoring experience, specializing in helping diverse learners succeed. I hold a Learning and Behavior Specialist endorsement, an ESL endorsement, and have completed Wilson Reading System training, all of which enable me to provide specialized support for students with varying needs. In just six weeks, I helped a 5-year-old learn to read using multisensory techniques that engage all learning styles. I provide a thorough diagnostic to assess each student's needs, then create personalized lessons that align with their interests and learning style. Through strategic goal-setting, I successfully helped an entire class achieve grade-level mastery, with 69% of students reaching that target. Currently, I tutor a 3rd grader in reading comprehension, fluency, writing, and quality, using these strategies to meet grade-level expectations.
