I have 8 years of experience working as a full time nanny. I have worked with new born infants, toddlers, school age kids, and teenagers. In college and grad school I was a lifeguard, taught swim lessons to kids 3 to 8yrs, and held the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification. I have held certifications in First aid, and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. In grad school I took classes in pediatric development, have clinical experience with children with special needs and my PA child abuse clearances. I love to cook, bake and craft in my personal time as well as with the children I care for. My parents both work in the arts so I really value the arts and education and try to bring that to all my positions. I gladly help with meal prep and some light cleaning. I'm an animal lover and can help with pet care too.

Emilia is a longtime friend of the family and has worked part-time as a nanny for our daughter E since E was an infant. She is now four. First the basics: Emilia is dependable, punctual, and flexible. She keeps her commitments, is always ready for E when we drop her off, and adds extra hours or works late or early as our schedules demand. Even more importantly, however, Emilia is super-caring and has bonded well with our daughter. E loves to see her and talks about her often. Emilia takes E to the park and pool on nice days and has crafts and activities for E when the weather is rainy or cold. Emilia always remembers E's birthday.
