About Emilia

Hi there! My name is Emilia. I'm a theatre and film Sarah Lawrence College alumni. I'm 24 years old and I've been working with children since I was 14 as a teacher's assistant, Spanish tutor and babysitter. I'm the oldest of three sisters and nine cousins so I've been around children long before that. I'm originally from Santiago, Chile hence why I speak Spanish. When I'm working with children I appeal to their imagination and hobbies trying to stimulate that part of themselves. I'm pretty active so I can keep up with their games and I feel comfortable and ready when situations like a tantrum or fall happen. It has been my experience that children feel comfortable with me when parents go out as I keep their schedule and routines so they feel the less disturbance as possible. I always have references I can show from the previous families I have worked with. My schedule is very flexible so I can accommodate based on what your needs would be.
