I love working with children because I absolutely love their worldview and imagination. There is so much to learn from children so I engage with them with a high level of respect. I have found that demonstrating respect towards children encourages the same behavior back from them. My approach is a balance of laidback and strict. It's critical that children feel safe with me, feel that they are able to have SO much fun, but also know that there is a level of respectful behavior that I expect. I was 11 when I got my first babysitting job, though as a big sister I've been engaging in childcare for the majority of my life. I have experience with infants through adolescents, I have experience working at a preschool, au paring in Paris, and nannying full time. I have a very hands on approach to babysitting. I love dress up, I love imagination games, I love going to the playground and getting soaked running through the sprinkler. Your kids will have a lot of fun with me, I guarantee it!
