About Emilee

Hi! I'm a Human Development & Family Science major graduating in December with a strong passion for working with children. I've been babysitting since I was 11 and have extensive experience from summer camp roles, including senior counselor, head lifeguard, and camp store manager. These positions strengthened my leadership, responsibility, and ability to create a fun, structured, and safe environment for kids of all ages. I'm trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and trauma-informed care, which guide how I support children's emotional and behavioral needs with patience and understanding. My coursework includes early childhood development, infant and toddler intervention, and Family Life Education, giving me a strong foundation in developmentally appropriate care. I bring a compassionate, patient, and encouraging approach to my work and strive to create a nurturing, engaging space where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
