About Declan

Hello! My name is Declan. I'm passionate about working with children and supporting families. I studied Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Portland, which gave me a strong foundation in child development and behavior. For the past 10 years, I've worked as a lead coach at Austin Youth Fitness, offering after-school programs, personal training, and summer camps. Here, I've had the opportunity to mentor, motivate, and build meaningful relationships with children of all ages and their families. In addition, I have many years of hands-on experience tutoring and nannying for children across ages, and in a variety of settings. I'm excited to continue building my career in childcare and to be someone that families can trust and rely on. I strive to create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel supported, confident and able to be themselves.
