About Emiko
Experience: 3 yrs
I'm a graduate student pursuing my Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. I have about 3 years if tutoring experience at a Kumon center and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development. I specialize in prek-5 tutoring and enjoy helping students strengthen their skills in reading, writing, math, and homework completion. I can support students with understanding challenging concepts, improving reading comprehension, developing writing skills, practicing foundational math, and building effective study habits. My goal is to make learning fun, engaging, and personalized to each student's needs while helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning!
