My first experience with special needs came when I worked as a camp counselor for a summer camp for children and adults with disabilities. In this process, I learn how much I could learn from the outlook of people with disabilities and the joy of life that they have was infectious. It was a humbling experience that taught me the value of service as well as the value of hard work. After, I worked with an organization where I was paired with a buddy and took him to organized party events with other people with disabilities as well as transportation. Overall, I have a deep respect and love for people with disabilities, especially the boundless potential
