I'm trained state of Missouri Psychological Assistant provided direct care and assistance to residents with mental, emotional and physical disabilities at Saint Louis State School and Hospital. I assisted patients with daily living and fundamental tasks and carried out duties designated by the nurse in charge. I collaborated with and assisted the educational and occupational therapist in the implementation of their programs with residents. I tutored, motivated, and encouraged students. I assisted instructors with room arrangement and activities. I sat with residents to assist them with their activities.
