About Elly

I am a nurturing and dependable childcare provider with a passion for helping and caring for children! My background includes some college coursework and a year of experience caring for children aged 6-15, but particularly first grade as I held an internship in teaching them. I strive to connect with children and create a safe, stimulating environment where they can grow, feel safe, and be comfortable! My approach is flexible, as I adapt to the unique needs of each child. I am patient, calm, and creative, and I love using my imagination to make learning fun. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and I always follow the lead of the parents. In my free time, I enjoy playing outdoor sports and video games. I also like to use technology-based games and apps to engage children in learning. I have a car, so I am able to transport children to and from school or activities safely.
