About Daija

Hi! My name is Daija and I am a sophomore at VCU, currently studying Psychology and Nursing. Nurturing young minds is my passion. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my desire to support families by providing reliable childcare. I hold a college degree and have a lot of experience with children, I have been a big sister my whole life and have plenty of younger family members. Whom have all been trusted in my care on multiple occasions. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I also have experience working with children with disabilities, autism specifically enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular texts. I would love to bring my enthusiasm for learning and play to your family, creating a safe and fun environment for your children to thrive.
