About Ellie

I'd describe my personality as caring, empathetic, and patient. I enjoy working with kids because I find joy in doing something that makes a difference and could leave a positive impact on the lives of others. I started working with kids when I began my position as a behavior technician for autistic children 2 years ago. I also come from a large family where I learned responsibility at a young age, helping my mother care for my younger siblings growing up. Something you should know about me is that I love spending time outside in nature or anything arts-n-crafts related! I enjoy teaching skills through play-based learning opportunities and fostering creativity. My skills include emotional regulation strategies, personal care assists, and empathetic approaches toward challenging behaviors.
